Description Overview

Exciting opportunity for a Global Category Lead to drive the global contraception brand strategy implementation across markets (existing portfolio of ellaOne, Norlevo and Hana sales were 82Mio ex factory in 2022) . You will also be responsible for developing the communications and media strategies to build brand awareness, consideration and conversion across multiple touchpoints.  Setting, driving and delivering net sales, market share and profitability for the contraception brands globally. Supporting the implementation of brand strategy in white space to build scale. This role can be based in either Paris or London however, we will also consider other Perrigo/HRA Europe locations.

Scope of the Role

Strategy and Planning

  • Lead the development of consumer contraception brand strategies that drive awareness, loyalty and share ahead of the market based on a clear vision and right to win.
  • Support the implementation of global business and brand strategies which drive sales, share growth and profitability to target levels
  • Support the development of the global assets for the contraception brands based on differentiated positioning and motivating insights.
  • Support the development of a global pipeline of products, launches and roll out plans that drive the category and contraception brands growth based on unmet consumer needs.
  • Build collaboration of brand thinking, strategy and plans across the global cross-functional team, the lead markets and 3rd party business partners 
  • Lead consumer understanding for the contraception portfolio on an international basis identifying key consumer opportunities.


  • Work closely with local marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of global strategy.
  • Facilitate sharing and adoption of best practice. 
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional teams to implement global projects.
  • Manage and lead the relationships with external agency partners to implement effective communication plans.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years consumer marketing acquired in global organisations.
  • Preferred experience in consumer healthcare/regulated markets 
  • Preferred experience in a global role but not mandatory.
  • Preferred experience in consumer healthcare is beneficial but not mandatory
  • OTC and / or FMCG experience within recognisable blue chip companies
  • Marketing with other commercial experience in sales or trade marketing an advantage
