The shift for this position is Monday - Friday 7AM-3PM requiring shift, weekend, and holiday work (when applicable).

Scope of the Role

 

The purpose of this job is quality control support of packaging and canning lines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • To support and assist line one and line two QA operations by ensuring product meets the critical to quality requirements.
  • To communicate QA results across different levels (WTL/Sup/Mgr)
  • To manage effectively test (i.e. MSO's)  across cans and/or tubs and report/document results.
  • Ability to Understanding of cGMP and Documentation practices
  • To reliably reduce/eliminate documentation errors in cGMP forms.
  • To be trained in best in class calibration practices.        
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

 

High School Diploma or equivalent.
The ability to read and write legibly.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
1 year of experience in food related industry recommended.


Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
Lifting up to 55 lbs occasionally.
The ability to work repetitively with the arms - sometimes in a hunched position.
Must be able to withstand temperatures up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. 
Must be able to push carts up to 50 lbs.
Willing and able to wear appropriate safety equipment to perform specific job duties per zoning requirements.
