The function of Associate Analyst Quality Assurance is part of the Quality department under the lead of the Manager Global QA Food. The work location is Nazareth, Belgium (including the flexibility to work from home).
 

 

Scope of the Role

 

In this role you will be responsible for the following key areas:

 

  • You will support the QA representative within certain product categories and be responsible for all QA matters associated with these.
  • You will investigate quality incidents, deviations and complaints, identify and follow-up CAPA’s and improvement plans together with third-parties (contract manufacturers).
  • You will evaluate and follow-up Change Controls together with other departments.
  • In this role you will be part of Supplier Qualification and Regular Supplier Auditing.
  • Also you will agree Quality Agreements with third-parties contract manufacturers.
  • You will participate in project management (Stage Gate) and will work closely together with other functions during the category meetings.
  • You will set up Technical Quality files for food products (so called PMQs).
  • You will propose stability programs and finished product specifications for NPD’s, roll outs and reformulations and review stability results.
  • You will help with due diligence and integration of new product developments / new product introductions for assigned categories.
  • You will support technical transfers.
  • You will maintain databases and documents according to good documentation practices and record retention procedure.
  • You will support QA in ensuring ongoing inspection readiness in your area of responsibilities.
  • You will support in the maintenance of the Quality Management System by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices and Working Instructions.
     

Experience Required

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Master degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, biochemistry, chemistry … or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in food quality assurance
  • Good knowledge of the relevant European and Belgian food regulations and experience with standards (FSSC22000, IFS, BRC, HACCP).
  • You are a self-starter, capable of working autonomously at corporate level.
  • You have strong project management skills & team worker in a multicultural environment.
  • Persistent drive for results in a fast-paced environment, utilizing sound project focus, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English. Other languages are an asset.
