Description Overview
- The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for overseeing the processes and procedure to ensure data integrity of Finance systems and continually assessing for optimization to drive efficiencies and institutional effectiveness.
- The successful person be leading the production of detailed technical documents, configuration and/or development within the assigned applications, understanding of the overall design and architecture of a platform, and delivery of the end-to-end solutions.
- They will work with functional Finance leaders to confirm, control effectiveness, and pursue continuous improvement activities.
- They will be responsible for the successful identification, development, and execution of projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achievement of company goals.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for training and educating associates, and teams, on innovative thinking and questioning of established practices.
- They are also responsible for championing, developing, and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.
Scope of the Role
- Responsible for the delivery of system capabilities across the Perrigo Accounting and Finance application portfolio
- Collaborating with functional departments and cross-functional teams to document processes, design methods to determine improvement opportunities, proposing, testing and implementing improvements to those processes to support institutional effectiveness.
- Formulates implementation/deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for Perrigo systems
- Develops solutions to Finance organizational issues and concerns, and develops organized change strategies and plans and/or conducts training for project implementations; reviews and writes comprehensive technical records and reports, identifies alternatives, and makes recommendations
- Focused on developing and implementing improvements to eliminate operational wastes in the process while managing and evaluating multiple projects
- Responsible for systematic and thorough documentation of all projects, in order to share ideas cross-functionally throughout admin global departments
- Lead improvement projects to increase process capacity and reliability, improve efficiency, & increase visibility
- Focused on developing and implementing improvements to global reporting and support the finance organization on reporting improvements and questions.
Experience Required
- Understanding and knowledge of enterprise systems including but not limited to SAP S/4, Group Reporting, SAP BPC, SAP Microsoft Analysis for Office Reporting, PowerBI, etc.
- Strong Finance and Accounting process knowledge in Monthly Close, Reporting, Forecasting, and Analysis
- Experience in leading resources in projects and programs
- Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications beyond the Finance organization
- Versatility and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
- Must be able to generate, explain, and present detailed schedules, objectives, reports, and other documentation accurately
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive initiatives and projects independently from start to finish
