Description Overview
The Customer Fulfillment Analyst role will either be a dedicated resource for a single customer account or covering multiple accounts depending on the strategic priority. As the primary customer facing role, this role will maintain overall service relationship with customer inclusive of supply availability, order management and demand consumption, leveraging analytics to maintain and distribute reporting to customer. Advocates customer needs and funnels inquiries through proper internal channels. Internal liaison for customer specific supply related questions. The role is an involved member of the internal Customer team ensuring execution of order strategies related but not limited to, order oversight, unusual demand, seasonal demand, shortages, and allocation. Supplements OCA with supply compliance (OTIF and Account specific supply compliance programs) activities inclusive of fines prevention and risk mitigation escalating through Customer team as necessary. Proactively Spearhead and engage with customers on all Supply Chain and Logistic projects (MOQ, ordering patterns etc.) to drive efficiencies and sales growth based on customer stratification.
Scope of the Role
Account Management
- Maintains overall service relationship with customer inclusive of supply availability.
- Leads scorecard and goal alignment and recurring customer meetings. Oversight to Inventory allocation for promotions, special packs, displays, new item, discontinuations, and conversions.
- Collaboration with customer on key drivers of their orders within lead time; inclusive of abnormal demand analysis, evaluation of root cause and insight communication triggering changes as necessary.
Order Management and Control
- Leverage order management tools through routine data investigation to allow for accurate execution of order control.
- Understanding ordering patterns and communicating forecast consumption to planning , DC and product allocation management relaying ordering impacts to customer.
- Analyze, deliver and process VMI order management system which can vary by account assignment.
- Evaluate order shortages to identify if forecast/abnormal demand or supply related reason and code to close orders and report service.
- Managing obsolescence risk of Finished Goods and in process (DPDT) materials. Minimize and collaborate on fines related to supply as necessary.
Supply Chain Process Improvement
- Spearhead and drive supply chain projects (internal or external) across all areas of Supply Chain functions driving efficiencies across all areas of Supply Chain.
- Build and maintaining relationships across Supply Chain departments.
- Lead discussion on special distribution impacts to order delivery/scheduling (i.e. Holiday, DC Moves, etc.)
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles with recent supply chain experience preferred.
- Excellent systematic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude for commercial acumen and prioritization
- Ability to become extremely proficient and knowledgeable to customer systems.
- Ability to work alone on multiple concurrent projects is necessary.
- Previous supervisory or management experienced preferred
