Description Overview
This is a leading role within the organization to outline the strategic growth roadmap for Digital and eCommerce growth across Retail Partners and Busness Unit strategic integration.
Scope of the Role
TOTAL BUSINESS:
• Defining Digital Commerce strategy for CSCA business that will increase market share and revenue across Business Units and Customers; Effectively translating strategy into productive activities annually and long-term
• Ensuring Digital Basics are developed, communicated in partnership with National Accounts, CS&I, Marketing, driven through IT connection points and/or 3rd party (Ratings & Reviews, Search results, Retail Media)
• Provides inputs and consultation to Leadership teams (Regional President, GMs, Sales VPs, Global VPs), to respond to changing market conditions, improve internal efficiency and maximize results associated with impacts of Digital and eCommerce across categories, platforms, retailers
BUSINESS UNITS:
• Partnering with BU teams to architect and integrate Digital and eCommerce into growth plans; influence new-to-market/innovative opportunities, establish tangible and achievable brand/category and commercial goals for growth
• Business Partner across Business Units (OTC Store Brand, Oral Care, Nutrition) developing blueprint to build ABP and long-term plans; Oversee and help shape and lead eCommerce Brand planning process to make sure right strategic and executional choices to WIN
CUSTOMER/RETAILER:
• Initiate, lead, inspire and influence cross-functional team(s) to build customer/retailer collaborative strategies (National Accounts), planning, analytics that increase Perrigo’s online share of voice, visibility, volume and dollars across Store Brands/Branded Oral Care/Nutrition
• Direct SME and Consultant with commercial teams and external retail customers to educate, build relationships, priorities and invest in highest leveraging initiatives and sales strategies; Direct customer 1:1 interface
MEASUREMENT AND ANALYTICS:
• Leverage Market, Retailer, & Shopper data to define forward looking category opportunities & quantify size of prize & key levers/solutions to capture in collaboration with Commercial Teams
• Build initiatives to capture and leverage 1P (2P + 3P) data analytics, creative and optimize insights and usage to engage consumers, consistently improve measurements and reporting, identify areas of growth
Experience Required
• Typically 10-12 years of recent experience leading a digital & eCommerce growth business sector for an organization with focus on Retail dot.com
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
• Preferred experience within health and wellness and/or Preferred Private Brands and CPG
• Experience from an end-to-end perspective; digital strategy to execution across retailer/customer platform
• Understanding of Retail Media within the Marketing Mix
• Ability to understand Omni-Channel with lean towards digital levers down the path-to-purchase
• Lead across all business groups and brands to produce optimized product content to drive sales and conversion online
• Demonstrated success launching new products online/across various online routes-to-market
• Experience defending plans and making the case for resources with data
• Experience working with creatives, ability to write briefs and an eye for good design
• Strong project management skills, including developing timelines, articulating critical paths, and delivering outcomes on time
• Ability to maintain excellence and be highly effective working with a remote team with limited oversight
• Ability to work with ambiguity, navigate and add value to business situations and organizational challenges
• Demonstrated customer-centric mindset; Experience presenting and collaborating directly with retail customers
• Significant analytical and critical thinking skills with experience analyzing data & translating it into action
• Highly collaborative and capable of receiving direction from peers and leaders across functions
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to discern priorities without supervision
• Strong critical thinking, presentation, written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to review, edit and create business development and project related drivers
