Description Overview

This is a great time to consider an Engineering Project Management career with Perrigo, an 8B, global, consumer self-care company.  We are uniquely positioned for continued growth, with key focus on enabling operations and supply chain efficiencies that drive our growth strategies and enhance business results.  To support this growth, we seek a Construction Project Manager for our Global Engineering team, who will report to our Senior Manager Capital Projects.

Scope of the Role

This growing team provides engineering expertise to our Manufacturing, Packaging, and Facilities operations by providing oversight for capital projects that support Perrigo’s growth plans.   In this role you will lead teams and projects in a regulated GMP setting, supporting production of solid, semi-solid, liquid, powder, and cream products.  This role will straddle both operations and production environments, along with new builds, additions, and remodels.  Your talent to analyze and interpret project requirements, build effective teams, and meet project deadlines and budget will offer a platform to spotlight your talent.  While most projects are West Michigan based, the ability to support projects in our global locations will be necessary.

In this role, you would be well positioned in a growing organization for opportunity.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience managing large engineering projects with budgets of over 5 million
  • Ability to manage travel (including international) for periodic projects that may come forward
  • Background in production operations, facilities projects, packaging exposures, and related industry exposures (consumer products experience desired)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project, as well as AutoCAD
  • Talent to lead projects meeting time and budget deadlines, setting an example of integrity and direction for project partners
