Description Overview

The Production Engineering Manager oversees and guides multiple units of engineering work related to tablet manufacturing, ensuring efficient development of projects, structures, and processes within a major engineering program. This role integrates specialized engineering disciplines to support a specific business segment or directs a single specialization that serves multiple business units.
 

Scope of the Role

  • Spearhead and manage one primary engineering discipline across various tablet manufacturing processes, or oversee a diverse range of engineering disciplines within subordinate teams.
  • Drive key managerial aspects of projects, including cost efficiency, resource allocation, and timely completion.
  • Provide expert resolution to technical challenges while ensuring seamless integration of engineering solutions.
  • Review technical concepts of major projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company goals.
  • Actively participate in addressing complex technical issues, offering direction and problem-solving expertise.
  • Oversee recruitment, performance evaluations, and training initiatives to support a high-performing engineering team.
     

Experience Required

  •  Minimum of 6 years in the engineering field with 2 years in a supervisory role.
  •  Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (required).
  • Strong leadership, technical problem-solving, and project management abilities, with expertise in manufacturing processes.
