Description Overview

Supervises activities of unit supervisors within a single production or service department on multiple shifts by empowering all team members to deliver on quality, cost-competitive products, with 100% engagement and zero loss mindset. This role with have tactical responsibility of plant 4 operations, with oversight of 2nd and 3rd shift

Scope of the Role

50% Tactical: Execution on Shift or Area through direct/indirect reports.

Activities include Implementation/Governance of Standards:
- Management for Escalation (People, Process, and Asset/Equipment)
- Management/Execution of Work Systems as intended (Coach, Teach, and Mentor)
Shift and Daily Coordination/Communication (Manpower, Production, & Maintenance)
Execution of Standardized Gemba Process
- People Safety (Floor Observation)
- Product Quality (Proactive Audits)

50% CI: Drive Continuous Improvement on Shift or Area through a business partnership

People Pillar/Workstream: (Track and Improve)
- Hiring - Fill open position
- Drive Turnover (Recognition,& Communication)
- Training & Development
- Succession Planning
Operational Efficiency/Performance (Track and Improve):
- Downtime related - Open mechanical, or electrical issues)
- Change-over performance
- Process Loss: (Yield & Material Loss)

Experience Required

Minimum if 2 years supervisor experience, and 6 years’ experience in a production environment
Bachelor’s degree is required
