Description Overview
The Risk Analyst is part of the Risk Management and Insurance group that reports to the Treasurer. The Analyst will support senior team members and gain experience in Risk Management and Insurance, as well as in the overall finance function.
Scope of the Role
- Performs duties related to Risk Management and Insurance such as gathering exposure information, assisting with preparing insurance applications, document processing, record keeping, and report compilation, requiring independent analysis, the exercise of judgment, and detailed knowledge of procedures.
- Maintain an organized filing system of electronic documents.
- Reviews, classifies, reconciles, interprets, consolidates, and/or summarizes documents and information.
- Maintains records and balance information for control purposes.
- Compiles reports, drawing data from various sources within and outside the organization.
- Prepares reports and analyses within prescribed guidelines, as required.
- Regularly contacts customers, suppliers, and other Perrigo employees to exchange and provide information.
Experience Required
LEVEL OF EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred.
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
- Proficiency in collaboration
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities

- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate, collaborate and coordinate with others throughout the Perrigo organization.
- Ability to prioritize assigned work and complete activities on time
