Description Overview
Perrigo is looking to add a Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator to their Talent Acquisition team in Allegan, MI. This role is critical in supporting our talent acquisition efforts across a variety of business units, with a focus on managing the internal transfer processes, coordinating contractor conversions, and supporting external hiring for our Security function and Operations/Maintenance at our Bronx, NY location. The Sr. Coordinator will also assist the Talent Acquisition partners on administrative tasks as well as providing sourcing support when possible. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of recruitment processes, experience with coordinating interviews and offers, and excellent communication skills.
Scope of the Role
Manage the internal transfer process including:
- Review and manage the transfer list, checking eligibility for employees
- Contact potential candidates, leaving messages as necessary, and tracking responses
- For accepted transfers, coordinate with supervisors, confirm transfer dates, and submit necessary tickets for employee moves
- If no suitable transfer candidates, post the position internally. Review applicants after 7 days and proceed with internal interviews or move to direct hire if necessary.
Manage All Contractor Conversions within Operations including:
- Work directly with our on-site vendor on conversions of Operations employees
- Prepare offer letters, determining proper pay for experience (PFE)
- Manage the offer process and onboarding for conversions
Plant Position Recruitment for experienced roles including:
- Post plant positions such as Area Leads, Manufacturing Techs, Support Techs, Set-Up Techs, Shift Leads, and Maintenance roles internally for 7 days
- Review internal and external candidates for eligibility and qualifications, forwarding resumes to hiring managers for review
- Schedule and conduct phone screens with external candidates when necessary
- Coordinate on-site interviews for both internal and external candidates
Provide Administrative Support to the US Talent Acquisition Team:
- Book travel arrangements for candidates requiring travel for interviews
- Reconcile travel and purchasing card expenses for the US TA Team and submit applicant expense reports for approval
- Support with processing invoices related to recruitment efforts
Support site specific recruitment:
- Full Cycle recruitment for Operations and Maintenance based position for our Bronx, NY location
- Source talent via Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
- Conduct semi-monthly status reports on openings with site leadership
Sourcing Support:
- Work within LinkedIn Recruiter and Insights to providing sourcing support to the Talent Acquisition Partners
- Provide innovative sourcing ideas to come up with candidates for niche roles
- Research best websites and job boards for skill-set based recruiting
Experience Required
- Must possess strong understanding of talent acquisition processes, particularly internal transfers and plant/technical positions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have experience within LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing tools
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and hiring managers effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; combined with 1-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination or a similar role. In leu of degree; we would consider candidates that have 5+ years of experience within a related field/capacity
