Description Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering Department at our Braunton site.

The ideal candidate will provide project management and technical engineering support, leading capital projects from planning through execution to handover. 


This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of our facility's infrastructure while working in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Scope of the Role

 

  • Lead capital projects independently, managing scope, plan, budget, and resources for projects ranging from £5,000 to £5,000,000
  • Coordinate multifunctional teams comprising internal and external subject matter experts
  • Communicate project progress and potential issues to key stakeholders across the business
  • Maintain project budget trackers and forecast future spend
  • Support the Validation Department in preparing and executing equipment and process validation protocols
  • Write technical reports on various subjects to support quality and operational decisions
  • Assist in Quality Event and CAPA investigations related to Facilities Engineering equipment
  • Troubleshoot operational and design issues for Facilities Engineering equipment
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to report results to Global Engineering
  • Manage order processing for capital projects

Experience Required

 

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (required)
  • Recognized project management certification (preferred)
  • Experience managing engineering projects (preferred)
  • Knowledge of industrial building services (preferred)
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with solid dose pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
  • Proficiency in CAD drawing software, preferably AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
