QA Officer

Description Overview

We are looking to hire a QA Officer based in our Braunton site in Devon!

As part of this role you will be working with a cross skilled team to drive compliance with regulatory and company requirements by coordinating site quality systems relating to management of: CAPA, Change Control, Customer Complaints, Internal and External Audits, and Product Quality Review.
You will be a single point of contact with key contract customers regarding Technical Agreements, Change control implementation and Audit scheduling.    

This role is based in Braunton, Devon and will require at least 3 days on site.

Scope of the Role

  • Management of CAPA, Customer Complaints, Change Control, Product Quality Reviews and Internal Audits.
  • Ensure schedule adherence is maintained, provide adequate support to internal and external customers, adhere to requirements of GMP, collate and publish metrics relating to system performance.
  • Management of technical agreements; provide communication to contract customers and contract givers on change control requests; coordinate preparation for customer and 3rd party audits; collate and communicate quality data for customers; coordinate with the Procurement department on supplier quality management
  • To provide support to QPs and Head of Quality where required and undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time, commensurate with the level of the role in order to support the Perrigo business.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives that support site objectives

Experience Required

  • Hold as a minimum of one A’ Level qualification, or equivalent, in a Scientific Discipline
  • Effective communication – written and verbal – can convey information positively, succinctly, objectively
  • Must be proficient in computer software programmes such as word and excel
  • Proactively identifies gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement, offers solutions and works with colleagues to collate, review and implement the best plan.
  • Team player - can work as part of a team to find win -win solutions to issues.  Builds relationships with senior personnel, peers and subordinates effortlessly, to foster excellent team working.
  • Completer finisher – focused drive to identify tasks / projects and execute to a high standard within a timely manner
  • Ability to organize workload to ensure that commitments are seen through to the end, fully documented.
