We are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our Global SkinCare category team. This position will be based in Paris, France, but as a Senior Project Manager you will also work closely with colleagues from Perrigo Derma Center of Excellence in Kista, Sweden, and various cross-functional team members located throughout Europe and USA.

 

This position will suit a senior professional in the selfcare industry who has demonstrated capability in project management of NPD projects for multiple markets.  As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing new product development and change initiatives in the Skincare business unit for the EU and US market. This position reports to the Portfolio and Project Manager, Senior Manager – Skincare Portfolio and Project management.
 

The Senior Project Manager’s role is delivering timely execution of new product developments and change initiatives, using the requisite local or global Company methodology and tools, holding responsibility for the launch coordination with the cross-functional Central Branded Business teams and the individual markets in Europe and USA. The PM is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/ controlling and closing each assigned project. 
The role interfaces with the cross-functional Branded business teams, individual market teams, the Senior Leadership team and manufacturing partners. 
 

Scope of the Role

  • Performs project planning, tracking, scope management, ensuring quality compliance, execution and reporting of multiple highly complex and/or highly valuable projects simultaneously
  • Leads and motivate cross-functional teams working with or without defined project processes and templates to drive results in the development and delivery of new initiatives
  • Leads project meetings, ensuring efficient use of meeting time and effective decisions on direction of specific projects or resolution of issues
  • Coordinates day-to-day activities of teams for the duration of their involvement in the project and may provide guidance to other project team members
  • Proactively monitors progress and issues progress reports; resolves or escalates issues and initiates appropriate corrective action to ensure critical milestones are met
  • Coordinates clear communications to all key stakeholders, reporting and oversight of interdependencies and risks, to ensure the realization of the projected benefits
  • Ensures project documentation is organized and accessible
  • Communicates with the Senior Leadership team and peer groups in ways that support problem solving and planning
  • Responsible for effective execution, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the project management process
     

Experience Required

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent (through experience) in a scientific or technical discipline combined with several years of progressive responsible experience in the pharma/ selfcare industry and minimum of 4-6 years relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with the product development life-cycle and regulatory requirements in the selfcare industry is necessary
  • Good knowledge of project management principles and demonstrated analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proactively anticipates and prevents problems by engaging the people within and beyond functional area boundaries
  • Skilled to process inputs from technical and commercial functions, draft presentations containing relevant project information and present with confidence to the Senior Leadership team
  • Proficiency in English and excellent computer skills (Office, MS Project)
