Description Overview

 

Responsible and lead for all activities within CSCI FP&A and act as right hand to the CSCI CFO in driving the finacial performance of the CSCI region. Accountable for delivering high standard CSCI Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to Perrigo group alongside CSCI CFO (upwards), for leading management reporting, rolling forecast, flex and budget cycles across CSCI and delivery of excellent FP&A support towards senior LT stakeholders.

Scope of the Role

 

  • Lead the provision of insightful CSCI reporting for CSCI lead team required for leadership discussion and to Perrigo group through analysis of business unit results – the WHY vs Central FP&A CoE providing the WHAT
  • Management of the EPM tool including calendar, process and governance - ensure inputs are received from relevant teams on a timely basis to enable a rolling P&L and OCF forecast with SIOP as the base but fully used by the Cluster FD’s and GM’s to drive the business units - providing service across clusters.
  • Liaising with Perrigo Group FP&A to align cadence of activity and deliverables.
  • Lead the FP&A CoE in providing the FP&A activity for the clusters; both group reporting (eg MBR/QBR/statistical loads) and internal management reporting used to drive the business. 
  • Lead the senior commercial FP&A function supporting central VP leaders across Sales, R&D/Innovation and Marketing with delivery of their strategic agenda. Maintain a personal relationship with each of the senior leaders to ensure alignment with the total CSCI story.
  • Works alongside Global EDW/BI CoE to provide dashboards and key management information and insightful analysis (eg variance analysis, FTE/HC reports, working capital) – with a continuous drive toward standardisation and centralization
  • Ownership of the SIOP/IBP rolling forecast, flex and budget planning cycles across CSCI 
  • Ownership of the preparation of CSCI MBR/QBR/flex/budget decks
  • Consolidation of CSCI weekly and monthly R&O’s
  • Act as liaison with PBS and CSCI CFO through month end close to ensure performance in line with expectations
  • Overall ownership of opex management (actual and forecast) across CSCI ensuring that the central assumptions and inputs by business partners are delivered on a timely basis to enable the overall rollup
  • Provide outstanding leadership to a talented virtual team within the FP&A CoE providing direction, support, coaching, development and growth discussions. Leverage 2 key senior manager direct reports to do this. 
  • May advise and set strategy with business leaders about related finance issues. 

Experience Required

 

  • Master degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or recognised accounting qualificaiton
  • 10+ Year’s experience in Finance roles with expeience in a business unit environment as well as central
  • Strong leader of people, experience leading, developing and motivating a large team
  • Excellent interpersonal / relationship-building capabilities with the ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence solutions at a senior level
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user, passionate by Excel. First experience of PowerBI and Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus
  • Proficient understanding of planning and reporting systems, EPM system, EDW/PBI databases and dashboards
  • Experienced in handling mutiple tasks simultaneously with strict deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key business drivers - Commercial (Sales, R&D, Marketing, etc), Supply Chain, regional, central
  • Able to careful manage sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues; a drive for continuous professional development in self and others
  • Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills with an attention to detail and ability to “tell the story”
  • Excellent language skills in English and additional languages are an asset
