Description Overview
Based in Dublin, Perrigo have created an exceptional opportunity for a strategic leader to join as Senior Director of Global Skin Healing. In this role you will have responsibility for exploding the growth of this critical portfolio charged with high investment and growth potential, with a strong focus on developing our base business while accelerating our innovation pipeline success. You bring expertise in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing brand performance, and aligning commercial strategies with market needs. You will bring a blend of marketing acumen, operational discipline, innovation experience, and proven performance in partnering for best-in-class go to market results. Ideally you will have experience leading growth campaigns in Europe and North America.
Scope of the Role
Strategic and operational leadership for Skin Healing within our European and North America businesses:
- Collaborate closely with regional clusters and marketing leads to build strong core business fundamentals for the Compeed & Mederma businesses. Inspire and mobilize multifunctional team to build the plan and help execute with excellence.
- Identify current growth opportunities within the Skin Healing and adapt them to meet the unique market leads. Partner with the regions to develop strategies that are both relevant & share growing.
- Partner with R&D and other resources to develop a long-term innovation master plan. Create business building opportunities through brand and category expansion.
- Facilitate cross-functional partnerships with country teams to ensure the seamless execution of strategies tailored to markets’ unique needs.
Brand Identity and Positioning for Skin Healing:
- Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity and positioning for existing Skin Healing brands, especially in light of increased need for Global brands that halo on/from each other by ensuring consistency in messaging and positioning across all markets.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive brand building strategies aimed at driving brand & category growth within the Skin Healing category.
- Adapt global Skin Healing strategies to align with local market requirements, ensuring that they resonate with consumer needs and preferences.
- Focus marketing efforts on achieving business objectives, optimizing ROI, and driving efficiencies in marketing spend to maximize impact.
- Ensure a consistent brand message and visual representation across channels, markets, and touchpoints, reinforcing the value of our Skin Healing offerings.
Experience Required
- OTC and / or FMCG experience within recognisable blue-chip companies is required – ideally with European and US experience.
- Preferred experience in consumer healthcare/regulated markets
- Demonstrated leadership experience in consumer marketing in global organisations, with at least 5 years in a management role
- Strong and agile collaborator across functions and in matrix organizations
- Beneficial to have additional commercial experience in sales or trade marketing
- Strategic thinker and results focused
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Communication/marketing mix expertise including digital
- Project management and delivery
