Description Overview
To lead the end-to-end design and execution of a global supply chain category, enabling Perrigo’s strategic growth through scenario-based planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. This role ensures the supply chain is agile, cost-effective, and aligned with commercial, quality, and financial objectives. The role also champions sustainability, talent development, and technology enablement to build a resilient and future-ready supply chain.
Scope of the Role
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Supply Chain Design: Architect and continuously evolve the supply chain design to support dynamic demand scenarios, optimise cost models, and enable launch readiness across global markets.
- Scenario Management: Develop and maintain scenario planning capabilities to anticipate and respond to shifts in demand, regulatory changes, and supply disruptions.
- Portfolio & Launch Enablement: Align supply chain capabilities with portfolio strategy, ensuring timely product launches and lifecycle management.
- Cost & Margin Optimisation: Drive cost improvement initiatives and margin enhancement through strategic sourcing, network optimisation, and lean operations.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance across all supply chain touchpoints.
- Cash & Inventory Management: Optimise working capital through effective inventory planning, supplier terms, and demand alignment.
- Category Growth Support: Partner with commercial and R&D teams to enable category growth through supply chain innovation and responsiveness.
- Supplier & Partner Management: Build strategic relationships with suppliers and external manufacturers to ensure performance, resilience, and innovation.
- Digital Enablement: Leverage data analytics, automation, AI, and ERP systems to enhance visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Sustainability Goals: Integrate environmental and social sustainability objectives into supply chain strategies and operations.
- Talent Development: Build supply chain capabilities through team development, training programs, and succession planning.
- Crisis & Risk Management: Establish frameworks for crisis response and risk mitigation to ensure supply continuity and resilience.
- Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis: Continuously benchmark supply chain performance against industry standards and competitors to identify improvement opportunities.
- Roadmap Development: Define and execute a strategic roadmap for the category’s supply chain evolution.

- Proven ability to lead complex, global supply chains with measurable impact on cost, service, and agility.
- Strong scenario planning and modelling capabilities.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration across commercial, regulatory, and technical teams.
- Demonstrated success in enabling product launches and managing diverse portfolios.
- High cultural awareness and ability to lead across geographies and time zones.
- Commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.
- Track record of developing high-performing supply chain teams.
- Experience implementing digital tools, automation, and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage supply chain risks and respond effectively to crises.
- Strategic mindset with ability to define and execute long-term supply chain roadmaps.
Experience Required
- Typically the experience required will be gained through 10+ years in supply chain leadership roles, ideally within healthcare, consumer health, or FMCG sectors.
- Experience in global category management and external manufacturing networks.
- Expertise in scenario planning, SI&OP, and supply chain design.Strong understanding of regulatory environments and quality systems.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and digital transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
