Description Overview

This is a night shift position working 12 hours, 6pm-6:10am, on a 2-2-3 schedule. 

Starting Pay is $34.15 per hour with $2/hr shift differential. 

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Provide support to the facility in the areas of instrument calibration and accompanying documentation, including applying knowledge of the Perrigo Calibration policy with emphasis on PLCs, analog and digital control, variable frequency drives, motor control centers, Intellution FIX and computer networking. 

  • Use deductive reasoning, troubleshooting skills, design layout assistance for new or improved control installations, VFD parameter and other configurable control setup, checkout, and support for system documentation 

  • Accurately use SAP/AMM 

  • Support and have working knowledge of maintenance tasks in other areas of the plant 

Scope of the Role

Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.

Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to Perrigo Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs. 

Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply. 

Understand and apply the principles of NCE and TPM (i.e.: NCE SHO Boards, participation with TPM sub meetings) 

Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area 

Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with Team Advisor, co-workers, contractors, and vendors 

Experience Required

Minimum Requirements and Education Level: 

  • Associate degree that relates to controls, automation, power, and/or electro-mechanical fields 

  • Prefer two (2) yrs. of industrial or manufacturing experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.   

  • Ability to Troubleshoot industrial process control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, low voltage power/control wiring, instrumentation, networks, etc.).
