Starting pay ranges from $23 - $25, with a 15% shift premium on top of that!

The schedule is a 2-2-3 shift running from 6pm to 6am.

Scope of the Role

As a Dryer Operator at Perrigo you will provide dryer support in preparing clean all dryers and associated production equipment. Works with supervision to monitor the operation of the production equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Stork Dryer System

Support CIP of the Dryer and Evaporator
Clean all Associated Equipment and Lines
Trouble Shoots Problems
Performs In-Process Testing on Product as needed
Marriott Walker Dryer System

Support CIP the Dryer and Evaporator
Clean all Associated Lines and Equipment
Trouble Shoots Problems
Performs In-Process Testing on Product as needed
Agglomerator System

Clean all Associated Lines and Equipment
Trouble Shoots Problems
Performs In-Process Testing on Product as needed
Other Duties As Assigned

Area Cleaning
Dryer Floor Assistance
Rework Assistance
Other duties as assigned

Experience Required

High School diploma or GED required.
Associates Degree preferred and 2+ years relevant work experience in a regulated industry.
Knowledge of cGMPs and previous exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills, sound decision making skills, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated leadership skills and computer literacy.
Knowledge and ability to apply Lean Sigma principles highly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong listening skills and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret and apply written procedures and standards governing manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate must be physically able to climb stairs, use hands to manipulate basic hand tools/handheld equipment.
