Description Overview

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing supply chain data, identifying trends, and developing data-driven solutions that enhance performance and support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate across functions, build compelling business cases for innovation, and help integrate advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML technologies into our operations.

Scope of the Role

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and others) to identify business needs and translate them into actionable analytics projects.
  • Collect, clean, and transform data to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes of supply chain challenges.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to communicate insights effectively.
  • Build business cases for innovative solutions, including cost-benefit and risk analysis.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, ML, intelligent automation) and vendors that align with supply chain goals.
  • Collaborate with IT to integrate new technologies into existing systems while ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Monitor performance of implemented solutions and continuously optimize based on results.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in supply chain analytics and technology.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a data analytics or business analyst role, preferably within supply chain or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Industry certifications in supply chain, data analytics, or AI.
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP.
  • Background in project management or leading cross-functional initiatives.
