Description Overview
Our Legal team are a valued, solution focused partner integral to our business and central to the success of our evolving global organization. This opportunity will see you become an integral part of a Global World Class Legal Team, based in the offices located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will report into the Associate Director Global Corporate Governance and Assistant Secretary.
Scope of the Role
- Contract Management: Including being the first point of contact and triaging the Legal requests, reviewing new legal requests, liaise with internal business stakeholders for further information as required, routing requests to attorneys and liaising with external business partners.
- Contract Administration: All contract administration tasks including opening file matters, filing all relevant documents, version control, formatting and actively following up to receive fully executed copies.
- Reporting: Ensuring Contract Trackers are kept up to date and issuing quarterly reports.
- Assisting Contract Review: Partner with the in-house team to review and respond to lower risk contracts, Statements of Work and Perrigo’s own templates.
- Marketing: Support in-house counsel with review of marketing and advertising collateral, supporting the business team on a variety of marketing related claims, collaboration with different teams regarding new marketing content and review marketing assets.
Experience Required
What we are looking for:
- Typically these skills are acquired with an educational degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Paralegal qualification or corresponding work experience as a broad-based Paralegal
- Experience with project management
- General high level commercial litigation experience, including class action, MDL and pharmaceutical claims
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to manage workload and multiple concurrent deadlines
- Inclusive with open mindset in dealing with different types of stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
