Description Overview

  • The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key contributor in the ~$2B OTC business unit, responsible for all FP&A duties and providing cross-functional support for the OTC business.
  • This role is instrumental to core finance functions including month, quarter, and year-end close, developing the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts, analysis of actual business performance, tracking KPI’s, and partnering cross-functionally as the finance expert.  This individual will drive short term and long-term actions to achieve business goals, improve efficiency and ultimately profitability.
  • This position manages one direct report (FP&A Analyst).

Scope of the Role

  • Own management reporting for OTC business unit, including P&L’s, customer and category profitability, KPI tracking, variance analysis, and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Manage the total OTC business unit P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow projections.
  • Work closely with Demand and Operations Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Pricing teams in the development of sales & gross margin projections.
  • Provide input on financial analysis (IRR, ROI, NPV) of new product development and other business opportunities.
  • Continuous improvement of current processes, systems, tools and techniques across the organization.

Experience Required

  • Education BS/BA in finance/accounting, CPA or CMA a plus.
  • 7+ years accounting/finance experience, large company preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, including senior leadership.
  • Strong Excel skills required, Power BI experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with complex ERP & reporting tools; SAP, BPC, Adaptive Planning.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
