Description Overview
As an IT Governance and Strategy Lead, you will manage IT governance frameworks and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives while also being the Chief of Staff for the Sr. VP of IT&S. You will be responsible for the conceptualization of the IT vision and translate that into Perrigo's strategic plan while also overseeing the PMO and portfolio of IT solutions. The Sr. Director will also align IT initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements while defining and implementing IT governance frameworks and policies, ensuring scalability across Perrigo. You will also promote best practices and adoption of agile methodology across the organization.
Scope of the Role
- Work with business and IT teams to understand needs and set priorities.
- Prioritize IT initiatives and create and monitor project roadmaps
- Oversee relation with software and hardware vendors, and lead negotiation of key contracts
- Ensure adoption of agile ways of working for the delivery of innovative products
- Create, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks
- Manage the IT governance project backlog, focusing on high-impact tasks
- Gather and analyze feedback to improve IT governance processes
- Keep up with trends in IT governance and technology
- Ensure IT governance practices meet industry standards and regulations
- Prepare executive presentation materials for key meetings and for senior leadership
Experience Required
- Experience developing governance frameworks and project roadmaps
- Knowledgeable about agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Familiarized with financial and accounting processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in implementing governance frameworks
- Ability to translate business goals into effective IT governance strategies
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelors/Masters degree within Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; combined with a minimum of 7+ years in IT governance and strategy
