In this position as Sales Account Manager, you will  generate and plan sales to selected customers, where relationship building and maintenance, opportunity identification and account management experience are critical.


You will be building and maintaining key and lasting customer relationships, whilst understanding the product ranges to help our customers and Perrigo achieve success.
Working across Perrigo’s matrix organization, building and maintaining key and lasting internal relationships with many functional areas (e.g. Supply, Procurement, Artwork, Regulatory, Stability, Quality, Finance, Legal, Category) to achieve Perrigo’s commercial targets)

Scope of the Role

  • Manage and develop the company’s relationships with allocated customers. Identify opportunities to grow the company’s business with these customers and develop plans to achieve that growth. Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company departments necessary to perform duties and aid business development. Influence, monitor, control and communicate customers’ forecast demands, making assessments against Budget and Flex.
  • Formulate and manage plans to handle regulatory, packaging, labelling/artwork, shelf-life changes that impact our customers. Ensuring clear communication is shared with the customer and internally; ensuring product supply is not interrupted; costs are kept to a minimum and wherever possible/ reasonable costs are recharged to the customer.
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business. Carry out annual cost / selling price reviews and install, update, renegotiate Supply Agreements as appropriate.
  • Manage any supply issues with customers working with internal teams to minimise any adverse events. Seek to ensure through changes to forecasting or recommending changes to procedures that any issues are not repeated.
  • Record, analyse, report and administer according to company requirements.

Experience Required

  • Successfully completed business studies or comparable experience as well as several years of professional experience in sales and account management of comparable products or optimally repellents, biocides, OTC medicines
  • Target- and result-oriented way of working as well as excellent implementation of negotiation tactics
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Mastery of all relevant analysis, planning and argumentation techniques
  • Commitment, ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel
  • Team player with an open and communicative manner
  • Sense of urgency and performance orientation
