Description Overview
The Artwork Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of artwork and packaging processes. This position serves as the primary liaison for layout, design, and production of artwork, while also providing administrative and operational support to packaging management.
Scope of the Role
• Ensure artwork builds are accurate and align with project requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for layout, design, and production of artwork, managing job status, reviewing proofs, and communicating pre-press instructions.
• Review artwork and job-specific details before production, ensuring printing processes meet quality standards.
• Enter and maintain job and artwork data in the job tracking system, auditing data for accuracy and generating reports for management as needed.
• Identify potential design or printing issues, escalating and resolving problems in a timely manner.
• Provide administrative support to packaging management, including preparing correspondence, presentations, and responding to inquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels.
• Offer guidance and training to new suppliers, fostering knowledge-sharing and process improvement.
Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related packaging field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of experience in artwork coordination, packaging, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with artwork and pre-press production processes.
• Proficiency with job tracking systems and tools (e.g., AMS or similar).
This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring high-quality artwork and packaging, with a knack for process coordination and attention to detail.
