Description Overview
As the Customer Service & Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in the customer experience of Perrigo as a company. You will make sure customers are happy through securing our service level and delivery quality as well as being the natural counterpart in customer logistics development projects. To manage these tasks, you will be supported by two direct reports who oversee the day-to-day operations.
In this position you will be responsible for all activities related to the physical flow of goods – from inbound operations to outbound deliveries and claims management. These tasks are currently executed by our 3PL. They serve all our customers in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark from a distribution center in Örebro. A key part of your job will be to follow up and manage the cooperation with this logistics provider.
The Customer Service & Logistics Manager is part of Nordic Supply Chain organization with 8 people divided into two teams - Demand Planning and Logistics. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain.
Scope of the Role
• Logistics operations in the Nordic region
• Lead the cooperation with our 3PL and quarterly review meetings with customers
• Coach a team of two individuals
• Drive logistics development and service excellence projects with customers
• GDP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance activities
• Sustainability reporting to authorities
• Participating in the budgeting process
• Knowledge of co-packing (displays, bundles and some ad-hoc reworks) and Master data (pallet configuration and other logistics parameters)
Experience Required
• At least Five years’ experience of logistics operations in an FMCG company. Preferably from the grocery channel. It is also an advantage if you have previous GDP (Good Distribution Practice) experience
• People management experience is preferred but not mandatory
• GS1 proficiency
• ERP systems experience (preferably SAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• University degree in relevant area
