Description Overview

 

The Associate Director of Base-Business and Portfolio management for Women’s Health is a strategic leader responsible for developing and accelerating our existing businesses with a focus in our international business. This role requires expertise in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing brand performance, and aligning commercial strategies with market needs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of marketing acumen, operational discipline, and a passion for improving the well-being of women through impactful product offerings. A strong focus on collaboration, responsiveness, and cross-functional teamwork is essential to ensure alignment across regions and markets.

Scope of the Role

 

Regional Strategy Development and single point of contact for Women’s Health within our International business:

  • Collaborate closely with clusters and marketing leads across the CSCI region to craft a strong regional strategy specifically for our women’s health product portfolio. 
  • Identify growth opportunities within the women’s health segment and adapt them to meet the unique needs of each market, ensuring the regional strategy is both relevant and impactful. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional partnerships with country teams to ensure the seamless execution of strategies tailored to markets’ unique needs.

 

Brand Identity and Positioning in Women’s Health: 

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity and positioning for existing women’s health brands, especially in light of increased need for Global brands that halo on/from each other by ensuring consistency in messaging and positioning across all markets. 
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at driving brand growth and increasing market share in the women’s health category. 
  • Adapt global women’s health strategies to align with local market requirements, ensuring that they resonate with consumer needs and preferences. 
  • Focus marketing efforts on achieving business objectives, optimizing ROI, and driving efficiencies in marketing spend to maximize impact. 
  • Ensure a consistent brand message and visual representation across channels, markets, and touchpoints, reinforcing the value of our women’s health offerings. 

 

Pharmacist Education and Engagement in Women’s Health: 

  • Develop a comprehensive education and engagement strategy for pharmacists to enhance their understanding of women’s health products and their benefits. 
  • Create and deliver educational programs and materials that provide valuable information on product usage, benefits, and points of difference compared to competitors in the women’s health space. 
  • Provide point-of-sale materials and tools that empower pharmacists to effectively communicate the benefits of our women’s health products to consumers. 
  • Foster a culture of peer learning and best practice sharing among clusters, supporting continuous education efforts focused on women’s health and product knowledge. 

Experience Required

 

  • Minimum 8 years consumer marketing in global organisations, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Preferred experience in consumer healthcare/regulated markets
  • OTC and / or FMCG experience within recognisable blue chip companies
  • Beneficial to have additional commercial experience in sales or trade marketing
  • Strong and agile collaborator across functions and in matrix organizations
  • Strategic thinker and results focused
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Communication/marketing mix expertise including digital
  • Project management and delivery
