Are you an individual who is experienced in the media industry and looking to create a significant footprint on the way a Global CPG invests and works with its largest A&P investment?

As the Global Marketing Excellence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving marketing excellence and efficiency across our global and local teams. his strategic position requires a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing global marketing strategies, optimizing processes and ensuring brand consistency. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as external partners to to elevate marketing capabilities, streamline operations, and contribute to the overall success of our global marketing initiatives.

Scope of the Role


Learning & Development 

  • Lead further development of the Global Brand Academy programme enhance the skills and capabilities of global and local marketing teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and capability gaps to ensure the Academy curriculum helps to deliver training against these skills 
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop and deploy all training globally to local and global marketing and non marketing teams 
  • Deploy and embed the Marketing Competency framework into  global and local teams


Agency Management 

  • Responsible for managing SOW all key marketing agency partnerships within Perrigo (i.e Creative, Digital and Training)
  • Foster collaboration and open communication channels between global and regional marketing teams.
  • Lead the bi - annual feedback process between Perrigo stakeholders and External Agency partners 
  • Embed the Agency roster for Tier 1 and Tier 2 agencies – finding synergies and standardisation in ways of working where relevant. 

Governance & Process Optimisation 

  • Implement and embed the brand building framework within the Marketing organisation, generating advocacy for the program 
  • Driving use of Marketing best practices and tools, shared as part of the Brand Academ training. 
  • Continually looking to standardise and improve Operating Processes for all marketing related activities within the Perrigo.
  • Develop and manage a robust marketing planning and review process across the business in line with the business’s strategic priorities 
  • Collaborate with key functions to optimize Marketing spending to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
  • Provide guidance on the adoption of new marketing technologies and tools.

Thought Leadership

  • Stay up to date with industry learnings, trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in marketing.
  • Integrate new and effective marketing strategies to keep the organization ahead of the curve.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and leverage best practices based on internal and external benchmarks

Experience Required


  • University degree; studies in marketing, business, media and communications is a plus.  
  • 8+ years’ experience in Marketing   
  • Passionate about learning and development 
  • Knowledge of latest Marketing trends, thinking and thought Leadership 
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of Marketing and branding principles and the ability to ensure brand consistency globally.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Critical and strategic thinking – able to assess what is working well and evaluate new marketing opportunities, which can be scaled globally 
  • Strong drive and ability to influence and collaborate with peers, leadership, local teams, and external agency partners
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptable, and able to work in complex environment with multiple markets and teams with a track record of proactiveness – able to assume responsibility.
