Description Overview

  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to resolve complex product development/manufacturing issues.
  • Maintain current product manufacture by providing technical support to internal and third party departments.
  • Lead technology transfer projects to contract manufacturing organisations.
  • Liaise across all business functions to promote effective delivery of business goals
  • Develop solid relationships with customers and service providers
  • Review and propose continuous improvements both internally and externally

Scope of the Role

 

  • Plan and manage projects involving modifications/upgrades/technology transfer products within the outsourced manufacturing supply chain. 
  • Gather, evaluate and analyse a wide variety of data and information to support external technical operation function.
  • Conduct studies relating to a variety of technical operation activities. 
  • Maintain current product manufacture by providing technical support to internal and third party departments.
  • Provide expert advice, review and approval of changes, documentation approval and management.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure the all regulatory and internal company procedures are adhered to.
  •  Remain compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). SOP’s specific to this job role can be identified via the company Learning Management System. 
  • Comply with the Perrigo Safety Policy and Procedures, to ensure a health and safety culture is supported in the areas for which you are responsible. 
  • Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time in order to support the Perrigo business.

Experience Required

 

  • Degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent
  • Three plus years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry process validation, formulation development or analytical chemistry
  • Knowledge of an experience with technology tools to support the business including excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to make effective contributions to meetings with all personnel at all levels within the organization.
  • Organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks, as well as effectively communicate written and verbal information with the appropriate sense of urgency
  • High level of accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Goal-orientated and driven to achieve results to agreed timescales.
  • Effective team player
  • Understand, recommend and progress continuous improvement strategies
