Description Overview

This position is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and execution of Scientific Affairs activities in CSCI Women’s Healthcare.

Scope of the Role

Lead and direct initiatives in the newly formed CSCI Women’s Health Scientific Affairs team, ensuring Medical/Clinical excellence and consistency in activities.
Provide subject matter expertise on products/diseases/conditions (including public health implications, policy, etc.) for Women’s Health Scientific Affairs.
Participate in the definition and implementation of clinical/medical strategy and plans, including e.g. publications strategy, congress strategy, medical communications, medical training.
Oversee claim substantiation and the strategy and design of any new scientific/ clinical studies required for substantiation.
Write and review regulatory dossier components for scientific accuracy where needed and serve as a scientific expert in Health Authority interactions as needed.
Provide scientific input where needed on acquisition / due-diligence activities.
Develop individual employees through effective performance and talent management.

Experience Required

Typically ten plus years of increasingly responsible experience in a large corporate environment; with a proven track record in overcoming business challenges and University Degree
