Description Overview
- Serves as internal medical expert for the products and diseases / conditions assigned
- Serves as HRA Pharma medical expert with KOLs and leading scientific and patient organizations
- Support Marketing and Commercial team in building strong brands at HRA Pharma America
Scope of the Role
- Provide Medical support to ensure that development/marketing programs are adequately and accurately guided by sound medical expertise and practice
- Participates in the definition and implementation of medical strategy and plans, including e.g. publications strategy, congress strategy, medical communications, medical training
- Develops strategy and leads the interactions with medical Key Opinion Leaders and Medical/Patient Organizations in collaboration with the company’s Public Relation service providers, and in accordance with the advocacy plan defined for the projects, Oversees Medical Advisory Boards
- Build medical content for Marketing or Public Relation purpose, including developing medical support and claims necessary to support the commercialization plan
- Interprets clinical study data, medical literature, post-marketing safety information in support of assigned products/therapeutic areas
- Develops & reviews documents to be submitted to regulatory agencies from the medical standpoint
- Serves as medical representative in interactions with US regulatory authorities
- Provide medical review to labelling, claims, promotional and non-promotional materials
- Co-ordinate with global functions on reporting requirements for US safety, compliance & PV responsibilities
- Analyze and medically assess and participate in due diligence activities for new products and business development opportunities
- In collaboration with the quality group, ensure establishment of appropriate Medical and PV SOPs, consistent with global standards to ensure appropriate organizational compliance & reporting. e.g. compliance with reporting interactions with HCP according to the Sunshine Act, compliance with HIPPA
Experience Required
- MD, PharmD, PhD, MS with experience in Medical Affairs activities within the Pharmaceutical Industry
