Description Overview
This position contributes to Perrigo’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure to support its global operations through overseeing operational and strategic projects. The Analyst will support all aspects of Treasury Operations activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company and supporting the cash forecasting process.
Scope of the Role
- Set U.S. cash daily – This includes funding accounts as necessary, sending wires/ach’s, researching items, notifying the proper depts of incoming wires and returned payments, and booking cash journal entries
- Monthly reconciliation of cash accounts to the bank statements
- Track reconciling items to help the accounting team with bank reconciliations
- Prepare and file the FBAR
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
- Support cash forecasting process
- Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, bank/Treasury systems, and bank cost information
- Support Standby Letters of Credit and bank guarantees requirements
- Initiate and support change to enable more effective processes
- High level of professional curiosity
- Exception attention to detail to follow determined policies and procedures to protect Perrigo assets from fraud
- Special projects as assigned
Experience Required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout Perrigo Tax, Treasury, Finance, and Business Units
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in collaboration
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- These skills are typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
