Senior PowerBI Financial Systems Analyst

Description Overview

Location: Ghent (Hybrid Working Model, 3 days per week onsite, 2 days per week remote working). 

In this role, you will complete business analysis and implements technology solutions across the Accounting and Finance domain, with a focus on Finance data and reporting systems (EDW, PowerBI, etc.).

You will need to understand the requirements of various user groups, identify issues and opportunities, and recommends solutions. 

Another key aspect of the role will be to translate business requirements into business process and technology recommendations and participate in the implementation of the solutions through collaboration with users groups and IT.

Scope of the Role

• Work with subject matter experts to gather and document process flows, data and reporting requirements and business value drivers, and to clarify end state goals

• Develop solutions which meet business requirements and presents solutions to the business users to lead decisions selecting the solution that achieves business objectives in cost-effective and scalable manner

• Develop solutions in coordination with both end users and IT staff, including data modelers, programmers, Basis, infrastructure, and project managers.

• Provide expertise in both technology solutions (SAP, BPC, PowerBI, etc.) and finance/accounting best practices

• Review, debug, test, and deploy solutions while considering impacts to existing business processes

• Serve as a technical resource and facilitate support within Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

• University Degree or equivalent

• Minimum of 5-6 years work experience required
