Description Overview
We are looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our Perrigo Direct team in Peachtree City, GA.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Inventory Control Analyst ensures the accuracy and effectiveness of inventory. The position will be responsible for conducting physical inventories and leads cycle counts, analyzes, and corrects cycle count discrepancies. Works proactively with multiple departments within the Perrigo and Perrigo Direct network to ensure a smooth flow of product.
Scope of the Role
Works with cross functional teams to manage the flow of dispositions and related inventory adjustments
- Proactively manages the Perrigo Direct “Disposition” email box.
- Maintains and researches customer dispositions via email and the disposition log.
- Coordinates with the warehouse supervisor to check locations in the warehouse for Supportive/ Non-supportive cases.
- Proactively communicates with the customer on investigation results as it relates to Dispositions.
Manages and maintains accurate inventory levels to align with the needs of the current and future demand
- Ensures accuracy of all inventory locations and resolves all discrepancies.
- Adjustments are made accordingly to keep inventory accuracy at 100%.
- Plans and leads periodic physical inventory audits.
Proactively works with Cross-Functional Departments within the Perrigo and Perrigo Direct network to ensure smooth inventory flow
- Proactively manages the Perrigo Direct “Brands Box” addressing consumer concerns and re-directing consumer emails to the correct department for resolution.
- Assists Procurement in the reservation process by communicating when goods arrive and have been fully completed through the check in and put away process.
- Collaborates with Finance, Customer Service, and the Warehouse to ensure that all transactions are accounted for.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least three years of Inventory Management experience preferred.
- Possesses strong written communication skills for the creations of reports.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Syteline ERP system knowledge is a plus.
