We are excited to be recruiting for Brand Manager OTC / Davitamon (NL) for our office in Rotterdam, NL.

Scope of the Role

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic Brand Manager: One for our OTC brands and and one for our "Davitamon" brand.

In the particular role you are responsible for the brand and marketing activities on the Dutch market.
Together with the Marketing Manager, Brand Manager and the Marketing Assistant, you form the team that contributes to the development of the OTC products / Davitamon.

You also work closely with Category Management, Media Management, Sales, Finance, Supply, Regulatory Affairs and Central Marketing. You report to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

Your activities are broad and include independently developing, implementing and evaluating product and brand plans within the category and brand strategy. 

You are responsible for the growth of the OTC products / Davitamon through:

  • Analyses - analyzing brand and product results, trends and dynamics in the market as well as determining the impact and actions this entails. You substantiate the plans with clear business cases.
  • Innovations - you are the commercial owner and project manager for the NPD plans. Together with the central innovation and marketing team, you draw up long-term innovation plans, and you roll out the plans with the local team.
  • P&L - responsible for the OTC products / Davitamon, both topline and bottomline. You independently monitor the financial brand results (sales growth and profitability) and make proactive adjustments.
  • Media planning - you brief, assess and evaluate the OTC products / Davitamon  specific campaigns based on the set KPIs.
  • Communication plan – you determine the strategy and touchpoints for the face segment after which you develop the assets with the central marketing team and the Marketing Assistant (packaging, TV, OLV, Social advertising, SEA, PR, Influencer content and in-store materials).
  • Research - together with the central team, you research relevant consumer and category insights and know how to translate these into unique and winning propositions for the Dutch market.

Experience Required

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • An above-average interest in OTC or supplements
  • You are independent, take initiative and have a curious nature
  • You are able to analyze complex data and draw concrete conclusions and actions
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills and know how to convince on subject-matter, also towards executive and corporate teams

Required experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in FMCG or OTC marketing
  • Relevant education, university degree required
  • Proven experience with product innovation & NPD processes, business marketing, P&L management
  • Proven experience with brand and advertising strategies, asset productions and media planning
  • Native Dutch & very good English language skills
  • Experience in leading projects involving cross functional, international collaborations in a corporate environment
