Description Overview

As the Marketing Lead BeNe & South-West Wellness Category Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation, embodying the voice of the consumer at a strategic level. Reporting to the South-West Marketing Director, you will lead a dynamic team of professional marketeers, driving innovative strategies across all channels and consumer touchpoints.


 


 

Scope of the Role

 

  • Deliver Business Goals & implement Marketing Strategy for the Cluster
  • Delivers the annual, quarterly & monthly business cycle requirements
  • Critical member of the Cluster Leadership team partnering with Market leads and CS&I Lead to deliver the aligned objectives 
  • Lead Cluster Portfolio prioritization in alignment with central guidelines
  • Oversee the development & implementation of marketing plans in line with central recommendations
  • Develop Best in Class Marketing Activation Plans
  • Defines and own Cluster pipeline & activation priorities, rolling out central priorities
  • Develop comprehensive marketing activation plans for clusters aligned with overall business goals, and global guidelines in partner with CS&I, Category Leads and local media agency
  • Develop and manage cluster A&P ensuring efficient allocation across category priorities and countries
  • Key partner to Central Marketing and Central Sales team, to be the voice of external reality, competitive trends, key strategic direction and what’s needed to win for the cluster
  • Lead centrally developed innovations deployment, ensuring roll out across cluster and adjustment to local requirements
  • Lead Analytics and Local Success Model
  • Lead strong collaboration within internal teams such as Category leads, Market leads, CS&I, regulatory, and central teams to ensure alignment and cohesion in marketing activities.  Ensure same leadership with external relationship on behalf of the cluster: media agency, PR agency, Customers.
  • Lead campaign performance and metrics, analyze results and optimize plans for continuous improvement based on global guidelines. Drive learnings into insights to feedback into central Category success model and Connection planning.s
  • Drive a test & learn discipline across touch point & categories ensuring very strong competitive analysis and fast response, as per aligned priorities
  • Lead IMEX monthly meeting along CSI lead, sharing with Central Leadership team plans to win for the cluster and identifying help needed to enable the cluster
  • Build Capability & Enable Success
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals across different regions within the cluster.
  • Set clear goals, provide guidance and empower team members to execute marketing campaigns successfully
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture to drive creativity and excellence in marketing efforts 
  • Optimise processes & tools for maximum efficiency and impact
  • Key partner to the central marketing community building the consumer & shopper capability

Experience Required

  • Minimum 15+ years in escalating roles within CPG or Consumer Health, including substantial leadership experience preferable in a multi-region or cluster environment
  • Proven experience in managing analytically demanding corporate initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in leading senior external relationships and integrating omni-channel strategies and managing retailer relationships.
  • Strong preference for extensive experience in Marketing and Sales
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to develop and implement effective strategies, processes, and controls, including trade funds management and comprehensive planning processes like S&OP and Stage Gate
  • Expertise in enhancing forecast models, segmentation frameworks, sales incentives, pricing strategies, and reporting tools to drive channel strategy execution
