Exciting opportunity to join our expanding Womens Health team as Global Category Lead - responsibility primarily for Intimate Hygiene Category. In this role you will be responsible for setting global vision and long-term strategies for this category. The CML is ultimately responsible for achieving the short and long-term financial, strategic commitments and in-market results or the assigned category. ** The office location options for this role are Barcelona, Spain or Zurich, Switzerland.
Scope of the Role
Main objectives of the function:
- Develop global brand strategy for the intimate hygiene category for the mid and long term.
- Lead Lactacyd Restage, with all associated stakeholders and activation. Drive innovation further than NPDs (claims, packaging, digital…)
- Define the global intimate hygiene strategy that ties to the global strategy and lives under the ellaOne umbrella branding.
Responsible for developing and accelerating Lactacyd (deliver net sales, GM, and A&P targets for Lactacyd while maintaining its market share as per PIVOT strategy)
- Own intimate hygiene consumer insights, equity, brand elements, and go to market strategy.
- Create, together with Associate Director Women’s Health, the 5 year strategic category plan for Intimate Hygiene.
- Complete P&L responsibility for IH Globally, development of all business cases and LRP.
- Identify growth opportunities within the Intimate health category globally and develop a clear plan to enter these segments and then adapt them to meet the unique needs of each market, ensuring the regional strategy is both relevant and impactful.
- Work closely with O-Architecture leader (Global team) and Cluster heads to define the global intimate hygiene strategy that ties to the global strategy and lives under the ellaOne umbrella branding.
- Collaborate closely with Global senior director of for the O-Architecture to input into the white-space strategy and executional needs for intimate hygiene.
- The CML will provide strategic guidance and operative daily support to the CSCI markets for the assigned category. You will captain and bring synergies and learning across countries.
- Single point of contact for Intimate Hygiene (Lactacyd) existing businesses across CSCI. Facilitate cross-functional partnerships to grow total intimate hygiene across the region.
- Lead strategy and execution of the 2027 Lactacyd restage (including line-up, artwork, and full physical and digital toolkit creation and adaptations to market needs)
- The CML creates, together with comms agencies, the most effective communication for Lactacyd brand, being DTC, below the line, HCP’s or PoS materials.
- The CML interacts and works in common projects with Regional organization, where she/he operates as reference member and team lead for specific projects.
- The CML interacts with most of the areas of the organization, as well as external partners, to ensure that appropriate resources are devoted to the brand.
Experience Required
- Education: University degree with preference for business and/or marketing related fields. MBA degree is highly preferred.
- Experience: +5 years’ experience in Consumer Marketing in Healthcare or Personal Care companies. Additional Sales and Trade Marketing experience is an advantage.
- Global marketing experience. Experience or knowledge of local countries is highly desirable, delivering marketing strategies that drive business growth across several countries or categories.
- Leadership and team management skills to lead, influencing without hierarchical authority.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills, able to persuade and influence others through personal credibility and assertiveness, capability to adapt to audience specifics.
- Can work independently under pressure and capable of delivering on-time within the scope in a fast-paced environment.
- Strength in problem solving, ability to handle multiple and complex tasks simultaneously, to set priorities and allocate resources as required and influence results.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Displays knowledge in using logical, analytical tools to address difficult issues and recommend potential decisions.
- Financial understanding and P&L literacy.
- Fluent in English.
