We are hiring an experienced In Market Excellence Senior Brand Manager to drive one of our key strategic portfolios in one of our European Head Offices.
Scope of the Role
In this role you will be responsible for:
Managing a Regional operating model
- Be category lead across the regional drumbeats: LRP, IBP, Investment choices, QBR while ensuring full transparency and connection with global team
- Key point of contact for cluster and market marketing community along side key extended member of the global team.
Be an Innovation enabler and multiplier
- Support the launch of key initiatives, ensuring alignment on assortment, sizing, and pricing strategies to maximize market performance being the key partner for CSI and Sales CSCI teams
- Own KPIs consolidation, size of price and ensure that investment choices are reflected into CSCI priorities and big bets
- Lead post launch analysis and consolidate launch best practices and learnings to accelerate performance in future years.
- Collect and synthesize consumer insights to influence global innovation and marketing strategies.
Lead portfolio choices and fuel core acceleration
- Partner with CS&I and RGM to analyze market conditions and competitive pricing to optimize price-pack architecture and commercial success.
- Partner with CS&I to work on Business Development Initiatives (BDI) across the full portfolio with objective to accelerate growth leveraging Global Success model and local reality
- Establish forums and collaboration tools to facilitate knowledge exchange among regional teams with intention to maximize learnings and growth opportunities across Europe
Lead Competitive Benchmarking & Market Intelligence
- Develop regional reports and dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure execution excellence specially on key brand initiatives
- Establish clear benchmarks for best practice adoption across regions.
- Lead category performance analysis for CSCI ensuring clear diagnostic and actions prioritization in close partnership with other CSCI regional team and Global category teams
- Monitor competitor strategies across markets to identify risks and opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and emerging consumer behaviors to keep global strategies ahead of industry shifts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Global Marketing teams to ensure brand strategies are executed with best focus, optimal investment and constant improvement mindset
- Partner with CSI teams across our DVRP plans leading Global strategy and consumer voice at the core of our execution focus, taking the lead where needed while championing and supporting when required
- Work closely with Supply Chain & Operations to ensure feasibility of assortment and pricing strategies.
- Partner with Finance & Revenue Growth Management to align on pricing, promotions, and profit impact.
- Engage with Local Marketing Teams to ensure successful execution and localization of global campaigns.
Experience Required
What you will need to be successful:
• High level of influence skillsets in complex stakeholders’ environment
• Collaborative leadership skills with specific ability to communicate
• Stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record in creative thinking and in-market excellence.
• A strong drive for results, can do attitude and performance tracking
• Analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex data and extract actionable insights.
• Project Management: Skilled in managing cross-functional projects across multiple markets..
• Adaptability: Ability to balance global direction with local flexibility, ensuring strategic alignment and execution success.
Must haves:
• Moderate travel: 20-30% of the time
• Experience analysing market data (IQVIA, Nielsen, IRI,…) & financials (P&L ownership)
To qualify for the role, we’d like an experienced marketer (5 years +) preferably in Healthcare, OTC or FMCG and someone who loves to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
