As the Category Manager of CS&I (Commercial Strategy and Implementation), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the local business within your category of responsibility, embodying the voice of the shopper and customer. Reporting to the Head of CS&I and BI DACH, you will collaborate cross functionally to land best in class executions and deliver the business objectives for the market. 

Scope of the Role

Develop Leading CS&I Principles
• Lead country deployment of Oral Health care annual brand plans (split of brands to come)
• Own commercial deployment plan to local Sales teams, in partnership with Marketing teams.
• Key partner to Head of CS&I and BI DACH, driving the voice of external reality (bringing the outside in) & what’s needed to win within the category for the country, building solid channel strategy and utilising processes like 5 year strategy & LRP 
• Lead Go To Market, CVA input & target ownership for Oral Health care innovation needs, along with clarity of what is needed to win for the country and for the different channels
• Support the Head of CS&I and BI DACH with commercial ownership of Oral Health care business challenges & opportunities 
• Tailor Oral Health care centrally deployed innovation tools to be fit for purpose for local sales teams to sell & deliver initiative target objectives 
• Key partner to Cluster & Central CS&I teams to influence Commercial innovation needs for Oral Health care


Win in Executional Excellence
• Leads Oral Health care innovation execution & collates KPI progress tracking for the country
• Leads delivery & reporting of commercial components of the Local Oral Health care Success Model (built by utilising the total Category Success Model) 
• Lead definition across the country of the Perfect Store strategy, by channel and key customer for Oral Health care (DVRP KPIs targets  eg. distribution targets, price & promotional guidance, visibility targets)
• Partners with Sales & Marketing to deliver winning execution of annual plans in market for Oral Health care 
• Leads creation of local selling tools to win in each channel  
• Own and define Perfect Store & DVRP targets & KPIs measurement for Oral Health care & co-lead the action plan with Retail Excellence Manager to drive continuous year on year improvements

• Optimise processes & tools for maximum efficiency & impact
• Proactive contributor to share & re apply sessions 
• Key partner to the Central and Clusters CS&I community, helping to build community capability
• Elevate customer development excellence: define winning executions that are tailored for channels & customers, in close collaboration with Retail Excellence Manager and KAMs

Experience Required

• 7 years+ experience in a large FMCG/Consumer Health environment, including leadership experience
• Strong preference for extensive experience in Shopper & Trade Marketing and Sales
• Proven experience in successful business delivery in commercial roles 
• Proven ability to develop & implement effective strategies, processes, & controls; including trade funds management & supporting comprehensive business planning processes like JBP’s, Pharmacy FSF cycle plans
• Demonstrated success in external relationships and integrating omni-channel strategies and managing retailer relationships
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German
