As the CS&I (Commercial Strategy and Implementation) Retail Excellence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering winning retail excellence of the local business, embodying depth of understanding in what needs to be true to deliver executional excellence across the channels. Reporting to the Head of CS&I and BI DACH, you will partner with the local team to deliver Best in class execution in market. 

Scope of the Role

Deliver Country Business Goals & CS&I Strategy 

  • Translates the annual, quarterly & monthly business priorities into winning executional plans in market
  • Delivers budget targets

Develop Leading CS&I Principles

  • In partner with Country & Category CS&I Managers, own defining what tools are needed to win in the market 
  • Key partner to Local CS&I/Sales teams, to be the voice of external reality, building winning executional plans to deliver the budgeted plan
  • Owns driving consistency of selling tools across categories & delivery in time for key selling cycles 

Win in Executional Excellence

  • Partners with Sales & Marketing to deliver winning execution of annual plans in market across all category priorities
  • Owns execution across the country of the Perfect Store strategy, by channel & key customer for all priority categories  (e.g. distribution targets, price & promotional guidance, visibility targets)
  • Deliver Perfect Store & DVRP measurement and tracking for the local, cross category portfolio.  Co-Lead with CS&I Category Managers action plans to drive continuous year on year improvements on all categories.
  • Owns driving high quality & consistent selling tools across categories & delivery in time for key selling cycles 
  • Leads POS requirements & delivery for priority categories in local market

Build Capability & Enable Success

  • Proactive contributor to share & re apply sessions 
  • Key partner to the Central and Clusters CS&I community, helping to build community capability
  • Elevate customer development excellence: deliver winning executions that are tailored for channels & customers in close collaboration with CS&I Category Managers and KAMs

Experience Required

  • 5 years+ experience in a large FMCG/Consumer Health environment
  • Experience within Shopper & Trade Marketing & Sales Teams
  • Experience managing analytically rigorous corporate programs
  • Proven ability to translate insights informing the development of winning instore strategies
  • People management experience (2 people in the team)
  • Fluent in written and spoken english as well as German
