Description Overview

 

The Brand Manager, Smoking Cessation is responsible for ensuring Perrigo’s nicotine replacement therapy brands are aligned to consumer demands, and develop and monitor marketing strategies to grow Perrigo’s share of the category. Being responsible for translating the opportunities into a fully integrated omnichannel plan.

 

Scope of the Role

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute operational plans across the full marketing mix – Distribution, Visibility, Recommendation, Promotion to ensure excellence in implementation, and drive long term growth
  • Working with the Marketing Manager, Smoking Cessation, support the development of the annual and three year strategic planning process for the NRT brands
  • Use insight and competitive analysis to anticipate market growth opportunities and determine markets, channels and segments to operate in
  • Work cross functionally with digital marketing, sales, regulatory teams and external agencies in the development and execution of insight-driven marketing activity and campaigns
  • Undertake post evaluation / ROI review and provide key stakeholders with concise and timely management reports on marketing investment as required
  • Monitor brand sales and performance, identifying plan to correct performance gaps
  • Provide input in production of monthly volume forecasts in alignment with commercial to ensure delivery of stock on time.
  • Track and report on sales budgets, market performance data, and vs. monthly forecasts to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets.

Experience Required

 

To be successful in this role:

  • Degree qualified in Business/Marketing.
  • At least 2-3 years marketing experience.
  • Pharmacy/Grocery launch experience well regarded.
  • Experience of analysing complex data and using that to make relevant strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical capability to measure and track relevant KPI’s.
  • Experience working with agencies (media, creative) and executing ATL campaigns.
