Description Overview

•    This role helps to support the company’s sales and revenue objectives by delivering reliable and cost-efficient supply chain operations through-out the market;
•    Role works collaboratively with Central Supply Chain Functions and Market organization on all supply related topics including Logistics, Stock Management, Master Data; 
•    The role is responsible for maintaining effective 3PL relationships and ensure cost effective Service Level target;
 

This position is temporary fixed term contract for 2 years. 

Scope of the Role

- In charge of SC Operations in the Market with focus on  :

  • Product/Customer Master Data;
  • Stock availability and Inventory alignment in Perrigo system-3PL;
  • Periodic Stock count; 
  • 3PL management including costs (warehousing + freights)
  • Co-packing activities
  • Cost saving initiatives
  • External reporting requirements to support SC operations (GS1 data pools, recycling systems, intrastat, etc.)

- Lead the in-country SC&Ops team and ensure processes standardization as defined by Cluster Lead
- Execute monthly/weekly/daily SC routines like for example :

  • Weekly OOS projection and root cause shared with the commercial organization
  • Weekly control of batch received and not released yet
  • Monthly 3PL cost controlling accordingly to the SLA with focus on storage, handling, transport, co-packing, etc..

- Implementation of best practices built by CoE across the market
- Responsible for Opex Distribution Costs – preparing budget and assumptions + monthly actual costs tracking and FY projection
- Being the primary contact for SC&Ops Cluster Lead for Stock Projection, Stock Availability, OOS issues
- KPIs – Opex Distribution + Freight / Effective Sku reduction (number of sku’s with 0 stock on hand) / Co-packing costs (tbc) / Service Level
 

Experience Required

This role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering or a related field. 

This role requires: 

  • 5+ years experience in Logistics, 3PL-Management
  • 10+ years experience in Supply Chain 
  • Experience in people management.

Preferable from Consumer Self-Care, FMCG industry

- Hard Skills:

  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP IBP
  • Proficiency in 3PL-Management, driving cost
  • Understanding of supply chain planning and order management processes;
  • Understanding of cost, profitability and cash flow on a strategic level;
