Description Overview

Are you ready to lead a high-performing team and drive excellence in finance operations? Join Perrigo PBS Poland as our R2R Service Delivery Lead, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Record to Report (R2R) function. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic team, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement in a global organization.

 

As the R2R Service Delivery Lead, you will be accountable for all R2R activities delivered from our PBS Poland hub for CSCI legal entities – including industrial, export, central, and commercial operations. You’ll ensure that processes run smoothly, controls are in place, and our team is empowered to succeed. You will lead the R2R Team to ensure that processes and controls are executed correctly, service levels are consistently met, and priorities and workload are effectively managed. You’ll also be fully accountable for all aspects of people management within the R2R Tower – including performance management, recruitment, and development. A strong focus on embedding Continuous Improvement into daily operations will be key to your success.

Scope of the Role

  • Leading R2R Team
  • Cooperating with Retained Finance staff to help ensure quality and legal compliance of financial records
  • Working with the R2R Team Leads to ensure successfull people management within the Team: performance management, recruitment, training and development
  • Overseeing R2R performance management, by ensuring needed KPIs are regularly tracked and met, so that in turn SLAs can be achieved
  • Representing the R2R Team in governance meetings, as per the PBS Poland Governance Framework
  • Serving as the point of contact to key stakeholders for accounts payable inquiries and manages and resolves escalations
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness within the General Ledger workflow
  • Responsible for review, QA and approval of key activities performed by the R2R Team (MEC, tax, SOX)
  • Overseeing the work of the SOX Coordinator and reviews SOX Controls, as per the SOX Controls Matrix

Experience Required

  • Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in SSC/BPO, of which at least 5 in managerial roles
  • Experience leading teams (20+ employees) and growing their talent
  • SAP Finance experience
  • Chartered Accountant certification is an asset
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
  • Proved track record in driving change and transformation
  • Extensive knowledge of Finance in general and Record To Report in particular
  • Practical experience managing operations' performance (SLAs, KPIs)
  • Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus
  • Ability to engage with different stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Previous experience in driving standardization, automation and continuous improvement of processes
  • Fluent in English and Polish, additional European language fluency is an asset
  • Practical knowledge of internal controls (SOX) a plus
  • Availability to travel during the Transition phase and then occasionally
