Description Overview
A State of Michigan licensed Electrical Journey worker is preferred. Reporting to the Liquid Value Stream AR Supervisor, this position will be required to perform Planned, Project and Emergency repairs of Production and Facility Equipment. Responsibilities include completing general work orders in SAP, performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment, interfacing with other technicians, contractors, and engineers across 3 shifts in a team environment.
Scope of the Role
The individual may be required to preassemble equipment for upcoming projects (such as building electrical panels). This position will also be responsible for ordering parts and adhering to a timeline for work completion. There is a possibility that there could be travel involved to other manufacturing and packaging sites within and outside of Allegan.
Required skills:
Ø Ability to complete Electrical Apprenticeship through the State of Michigan

- Preferred- Certificate of completion as an Electrical Journey Worker, licensed with the State of Michigan
Ø Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ø Demonstrated ability working in a team environment and fostering good relationships.
Ø Excellent listening skills.
Ø Open minded and adaptable regarding type of work being performed.
Ø Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
Ø Strong math skills.
Ø Ability to read and work from blueprints.
Ø Demonstrated commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines.
Ø Willingness to mentor apprentices.
Experience Required
Ø History of good attendance.
High School Diploma required
Willingness to work overtime.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
Ø Working from ladders, lifts, heavy lifting, and own transportation are necessary and essential functions of the job.
**Protective Equipment Requirement**
Individual must be able to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators possibly for long periods of time and be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions.
