Description Overview

Perrigo is looking for an individual that excels in demand planning and analytics and has a track record of improving forecast accuracy and bias. The Customer Demand Planning Manager will drive improvements to our demand planning processes, develop analytical insights, drive consensus on demand assumptions, and enrich the demand signal. As well as partnering with the sales team, this role will also have customer-facing responsibilities to build strong and effective collaborative planning processes.

Scope of the Role

Responsible for improving SKU-level forecast accuracy and eliminating bias across products for assigned customer(s)
Analyzes several distribution and velocity demand factors including POS data, customer supplied forecasts, promotional impact, service issues, etc. to enrich the forecast and to develop reasons to believe
Provides robust investigation to develop insights and validate assumptions, while highlighting gaps & exceptions & major changes
Completes root cause analysis on forecast error and collaborates with business partners on corrective actions
Collaborates with internal sales partners as well as the external customer(s) to understand and align on key drivers
Leads both internal and external customer focused forecast meetings on a regular cadence

Experience Required

5-7 years of forecast/demand planning related experience required
Ability to apply forecasting methods with complex inputs from a variety of sources
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and results oriented
Critical thinker with strong problem solving, and able to navigate ambiguity
Strong technical skills with ability to mine large amounts of data, develop new tools, and drive process improvements
Ability to obtain and analyze data, take initiative, develop strong relationships with business partners, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Skilled in investigative reasoning and a high degree of skill working with calculations and numbers with attention to detail and accuracy
High proficiency in Excel and experience with forecasting software required
