Description Overview

Perrigo is seeking an Inventory & Obsolescence Analyst to join our Inventory Team based in our Grand Rapids or Allegan, MI location. This position requires a highly analytical supply chain professional to support optimizing safety stocks, reporting and supporting obsolescence avoidance and execution, developing analytical tools, and delivering actionable insights to improve inventory performance.  This position collaborates closely with IBP partners, particularly supply planning, customer supply chain, and sales.

 

This is a hyrbid position working 3 days a week in the office.

Scope of the Role

  • Optimize safety stocks through data analysis, scenario modeling, and parameter configuration to balance service, cost, and cash objectives.
  • Own system settings for safety stocks across thousands of materials, run cross-functional reviews, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Support projects and partner across functions to project inventory levels and future obsolescence
  • Develop and enhance analytical tools and dashboards in Power BI and Excel.
  • Deliver actionable insights on safety stock, cycle stock, and pipeline stock to drive inventory optimization.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant experience
  • Minimum 1+ years of supply chain and analytical experience
  • Proven ability to improve key metrics and develop actionable analytics
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency and comfortable working with large datasets
  • Experience with advanced supply chain planning tools such as SAP IBP Inventory Optimization is a plus
