Description Overview

Perrigo is searching for a Sr. Data Scientist to enhance its growing analytics capabilities. Reporting to the Manager of Advanced Analytics, the Sr. Data Scientist will be responsible for working with large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights and recommendations that will inform strategic decisions across the company. You will collaborate with business partners across Perrigo’s store-brand and branded products to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve the effectiveness of marketing, market launch, supply chain, and finance initiatives.

Scope of the Role

  • Analyze large, complex datasets related to Perrigo’s commercial needs and create valuable insights such as competitive market analysis, price elasticity, churn prediction, etc.
  • Create impactful data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to business leaders
  • Collaborate with business partners, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
  • Develop predictive models to identify trends and patterns, forecast outcomes, and inform business decisions
  • Design and implement methods to assess/measure the effectiveness of initiatives and programs
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness in all analyses and reports
  • Work with the wider IT and other stakeholders to ensure the security, privacy, and compliance AI/ML solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in data science, and technology

Experience Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively about complex business problems
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and modelling techniques, such as regression analysis, machine learning, and data mining
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI and building business facing analytics solutions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake and building production workloads in those environments
  • Hands on work with Data Science Notebooks i.e. Jupyter Notebooks etc.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field; combined with 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Modelling, and Visualization
  • Master's Degree preferred
