Description Overview
In this role you will manage the planning team and systems in order to maximise customer on-time-in-full service provision.
Scope of the Role
- Lead a team of Supply and Production Planners, and Service Coordinators to ensure we maximise service to our retail, inter-company and contract customer base.
- Represent the site in project meetings which are focused on new product introductions or the change/development of existing products.
- Act as point of contact for corporate software implementations which affect production planning (e.g. SAP, Logility).
- Manage and present site SIOP process and meetings to ensure we focus on medium to long term capacity constraints so that these can be avoided whenever possible.
- Prepare for, attend and present at regular UK market supply chain meetings such as Next90 and Monthly Supply Review.
- To undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time in order to support the Perrigo business.
Experience Required
- Proven track record of managing a planning team within a multi-product batch processing facility.
- Extensive knowledge of, and proven ability to utilise, SAP or similar ERP system used for production planning.
- Understanding of the key regulatory and quality systems rules required in order to ensure compliant pharmaceutical production (desirable).
- Ability to analyse extensive data sets and provide concise, relevant and accurate information from this analysis.
- Ability to work across functions and provide detailed information within project team meetings.
- Ability to recognise priorities and ensure appropriate escalation if demand is potentially exceeding capacity to provide required service commitments.
