Description Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing batch documentation associated with the manufacture and packaging of products, ensuring that documentation is complete, products meet specification, and activities have been performed in accordance with the marketing authorisation and cGMP requirements.
You will also provide line-side Quality support to production departments, helping to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout manufacturing and packaging operations.
Scope of the Role
- Review batch paperwork for completeness and compliance with cGMP in preparation for QP release.
- Review in-process test and inspection results to support assessment of product quality.
- Support production departments in determining appropriate actions in the event of a non-conformance, including supporting decisions on whether production may continue.
- Ensure that, where a non-conformance has occurred, any impacted product and materials are appropriately contained and quarantined, including placing materials on hold where required.
- Conduct product sampling and inspection where required to support non-conformance investigations and process improvements.
- Support process and quality improvements to reduce non-conformance recurrence.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions arising from non-conformance investigations.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with the principles of cGMP.
- Familiarity with the principles of lean management and continuous improvement.
