Description Overview
To ensure the Quality and Compliance of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples by performing laboratory tasks relative to the support of Perrigo operations and manufacturing needs.
Works independently and within team under direction of supervisor to accomplish tasks.
First Shift - Monday - Friday
Pay Rate for this Position is $23.00 Per Hour
Scope of the Role
Run laboratory dishwashers, visually inspect laboratory glassware for cleanliness.
Remove laboratory waste (solvent/glassware/ vials) as necessary from satellite containers to hazardous wasteroom.
Remove 55 gal drums from wasteroom to loading area for waste pick-up.
Maintain inventory of all lab supllies (solvents/consumables/glassware) in 5S location in all lab rooms.
Dust/wash lab surfaces, equipment and clean lab hoods.
Replace water in laboratory equipment as needed.
Carries samples and documentation between buildings.
Moves lab supplies/solvents between buildings/rooms.
Label solvent bottles as per SOP requirements.
Perform daily verification of laboratory balances.
Order supplies using ARIBA, SAP etc.
Prepare and perform Cleaning Validation Swabs when required.
Experience Required
- Ability to work as a team to achieve desired results and may need to work OT as required.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read/write and follow written procedures.
- Prior lab experience is a preferred.
- Interact with lab chemists to provide necessary supplies and respond in a timely manner.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with others.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibility for the results.
